Apply a bead of m bond at the base of the penetration and then prime the penetration with m bond 3 so it shows 1 above the m curb after it is installed. Choose the proper curb size.

Wall base termination detail. For roof slopes less than 6 on 12 the upper roof pan is attached to a locking strip soldered to the lower pan. The detail should be modified to show the actual type of roofing on the project. Typically these supports are flashed in with a rectangular box that is referred to as a pitch pan.

For a long span roof utilizing multiple seamed pan lengths transverse seams are required. Since most roof failures occur at points of penetration it s critical to have a high quality pitch pan that will perform on the rooftop. These metal accessories come with membrane welded to them reducing installation time and providing a clean aesthetically pleasing finish. This type of detail is common with all membrane systems and installation is similar with all of them.
