Roof Mounted Led Bar Glare

The light bar on the roof creates a lot of glare both off the hood and off the windshield glass itself if it s dirty which is most of the time.

Does anyone else have this problem. By mounting between the roofrack legs i was also able to use the bolts that secure the legs to the actual roofrack to mount the led bar didn t need any additional bolts holes. I have been working on a solution for this. I have been getting really bad glare with my 50 roof mount light bar.

It s a black aerial but with a gloss finish and the glare off this was very annoying. Also like you stated height becomes an issue when in the garage. Over windshield mounted light bars put so much glare on the hood that many people paint or wrap the hood matte black. It is aimed up as much as possible without sacrificing usable light.

I think they are to high and will get caught on trees and what not and get damaged.
